Aims
Main objectives of the project:
To identify resources available to students who are exhibiting or are affected by distress or at-risk behaviour.
To establish reporting procedures for those who observe at-risk behaviour in students.
To develop training/supporting tools that show how to deal with students in distress or at-risk situations.
To raise awareness on Mental Health issues, recognition of warning signs and provide an effective first response.
Specific objectives of the project:
To develop Self-help Guides for Staff and Students.
To develop Training Videos.
To setup a warning/help mechanism - "ASK for HELP" button.
To develop a Student Distress Guide / Student Crisis Support Protocol.
